During your session, your POD will display your real-time heart-rate so we can monitor your 5-zone training experience. Our system will send you customized Performance Summary e-mails so you can track your progress and your workouts.

Clients burn an average of 500 - 1,000 calories per session and continue to experience an after-burn effect (known as EPOC) where they will continue to burn calories for the next 24 - 36 hours. 

The newly remodeled Summit Fitness has 16 pieces of brand new cardio including:

TRUEFORM RUNNERS

 

The TrueForm surface is virtually frictionless and glides over the bearings. Unlike electric treadmills, the TrueForm Runner is controlled 100% by the movements and force of the user, which means you do all the work and you get all the results!  Combine that with an innovative curved running surface, which cues runners to dial in their perfect form. It’s all about: Posture, Core Strength, Arm, Hand & Feet Position, and Cadence. You will have better form with every stride and become a more efficient runner.

SCHWINN AIRDYNE BIKES

 

The challenge is up to you. The more effort you give, the more resistance it delivers. Schwinn Airdyne technology blends seamlessly with custom interval training programs to offer a uniquely challenging workout with metrics like watts, calories, time, and distance. Or you can choose to go the lower intensity route – a great option for a body going through recovery from an injury or one that just needs a low impact workout, but still wants to ramp up that heart rate. The Schwinn® Airdyne® AD Pro meets you at your level and provides the challenge to keep you coming back for more.

HIGH RISE WATER ROWERS

 

Rowing moves the joints through a full range of motion. Moving the joints through a full range of motion aids joint lubrication, joint mobility and overall Joint Health. Rowing is a smooth, flowing action involving little to no impact on the joints. Many mechanical rowers are jerky and jarring on the joints, and fail to emulate the smoothness of rowing and the WaterRower. Rowing is a seated exercise removing the weight of the body from the injury-prone joints of the ankle, hip and knees. Rowing is suitable for all, young or old, male or female, big or small, fit or unfit.

VERSA-CLIMBERS

 

No equipment has brought climbing indoors as well as the tremendous total-body workout from the VersaClimber. Later heart rate monitoring was incorporated into the VersaClimber making it the first commercial exercise machine that used heart rate as a speedometer of exercise.

 

Nothing like it existed anywhere, and since its debut, VersaClimber has been the number one total-body vertical trainer. A time line that spans nearly 30 years.

STRENGTH TRAINING STATIONS

 

Each client will be equipped with their own bench and their own set of adjustable dumbbells from 5 lbs - 50 lbs or 5 lbs - 90 lbs. Each PowerBlock has color coded side rails on the weight plates. To change the weight in just seconds, slide the selector pin into the blocks at the weight you want.

 

Summit Fitness will be outfitted with Rogue Rubber Bumper Weight Plates and a new fleet of Kettlebells. Functional Training will be taken to a new level with PowerWaves, Sand Ropes, Upper-Cut Bags, Premium Hanging Club Mats, Omni Balls, Steel Step Up Stations and much more.

 

Training sessions are 50 minutes in length, known as the Summit Fit-50. Each day of the week has a different focus, providing you with a one of a kind training experience, while allowing us to build a program specific to your goals. Our new Group Personal Training programs are designed to meet you where you're at - at any fitness level.
